Ingredients
  

For the Brownie Base

  • 1 box Ghirardelli Chocolate Supreme Brownie Mix (18.75 ounces)
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 large egg

For the Cookie Topping

  • 1 package Nestle Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough (16.5 ounces, in a refrigerated tube)
  • 1/2 cup Ghirardelli milk chocolate morsels Optional for extra topping
  • 16 pieces Halloween Oreos
  • 32 pieces candy eyes

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 325 degrees F. Line a 9-inch square baking dish with parchment paper and set it aside.
  • In a large bowl, mix the brownie ingredients using a whisk until just combined.
  • Pour the brownie batter into the bottom of the baking dish, ensuring it spreads to the sides.
  • Top the brownie layer with the 16 Halloween Oreos.
  • Break the cookie dough into chunks and drop them by tablespoons onto the brownie and Oreo layer, covering the brownies nearly completely.
  • If desired, sprinkle extra milk chocolate morsels on top.

Baking

  • Bake for 35-40 minutes. Once out of the oven, press the candy eyes onto the melted chocolate chips.

Cooling

  • Let the brookies cool at room temperature, then cover with foil and refrigerate for 2 hours (or overnight).

Serving

  • Cut into 16 bars and enjoy!

Notes

To store, keep in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days, or in the refrigerator for up to a week. For longer storage, freeze for up to a month. Add more candy eyes for a spookier look if desired. Customize with different festive cookies or candies.
