For the crust

  • 24 pieces Oreo cookies Crushed into fine crumbs
  • 5 tablespoons melted unsalted butter

For the filling

  • 4 ounces softened cream cheese Should be at room temperature
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 can (21-ounce) strawberry pie filling
  • 2 cups sliced fresh strawberries

For the chocolate drizzle

  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Preparation

  • In a food processor, pulse the Oreo cookies until they turn into fine crumbs.
  • Add melted unsalted butter to the cookie crumbs and mix until well combined.
  • Press the mixture into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie dish to form the crust.
  • In a medium-sized bowl, combine softened cream cheese, heavy cream, and powdered sugar.
  • Using an electric hand mixer, beat the mixture until the heavy cream thickens and stiff peaks form.
  • Gently fold in the strawberry pie filling.
  • Spread this creamy mixture on top of the chocolate pie crust.
  • Top with sliced fresh strawberries and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until firm.
  • Place semisweet chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl and melt them in the microwave in 30-second intervals until smooth.
  • Drizzle the melted chocolate over the chilled pie and serve.

Notes

For added flavor, consider including a little vanilla extract in the cream cheese mixture. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator and are best consumed within 3 to 4 days.
