Ingredients
  

Brownie Base

  • 10 Tablespoons butter Melted
  • 1/2 cup Milk Chocolate Chips
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 3/4 cup All Purpose Flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons Unsweetened Hershey's Cocoa Powder

Cream Cheese Filling

  • 8 ounces Cream Cheese Softened
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla

Topping

  • Full Sized Hershey Bars To top

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare an 8x8 baking pan with parchment paper, leaving enough paper to hang over two sides for easy removal later. Spray the pan and the paper with non-stick spray.
  • In a small saucepan over medium heat, or in the microwave, melt the butter and chocolate chips until smooth. Allow the mixture to cool slightly.
  • In a separate bowl, beat together the eggs, vanilla, and sugar. Slowly mix in the chocolate mixture until well combined.
  • In another bowl, sift together the cocoa powder, salt, and flour. Add this mixture to the rest of the batter. Be careful not to overmix.
  • Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan.

Cream Cheese Filling

  • For the cream cheese filling, beat together the softened cream cheese, 1/3 cup sugar, a pinch of salt, 1 egg, and 2 teaspoons vanilla until smooth. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the brownie batter.

Baking

  • Bake for about 30-35 minutes or until the edges are set and the center looks slightly soft.
  • Let cool and then top with Full Sized Hershey Bars if desired.

Notes

Serve these brownies warm or at room temperature. They pair wonderfully with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream. Store leftover brownies covered at room temperature for up to 3 days or in the fridge for up to a week. Ensure butter and cream cheese are at room temperature for easier mixing. Don't overmix the batter once you add the flour to keep the brownies tender.
