Grilled Triple Citrus Salmon

Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 4 pieces salmon filets Each filet should be 6 ounces.
  • ½ cup orange juice Freshly squeezed is best.
  • ¼ cup lemon juice Freshly squeezed is ideal.
  • ¼ cup lime juice Use freshly squeezed for optimal flavor.
  • ¼ cup orange marmalade
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • ¼ cup brown sugar Packed.
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon water

Instructions
 

Marinade Preparation

  • In a medium saucepan, whisk together the orange juice, lemon juice, lime juice, orange marmalade, minced garlic, soy sauce, and brown sugar.
  • In a small bowl, whisk the cornstarch and water together. Slowly stir the cornstarch mixture into the marinade mixture and bring to a boil over medium-high heat until it starts to thicken. Remove from heat.

Grilling

  • Lay the salmon skin-side down on cedar planks (or a well-oiled grill) and season with salt and pepper. Brush half of the marinade onto the tops of the salmon.
  • Grill over medium-high heat for 12-15 minutes until the salmon is cooked through.
  • Transfer the salmon to plates and brush with the reserved marinade on top. Enjoy!

Notes

For best flavor, use fresh citrus juices. Marinating for at least 30 minutes is recommended. Keep an eye on grilling to avoid overcooking.
