  • 1 package milk chocolate brownie mix (19-ounce)
  • 1 package triple fudge brownie mix (19-ounce)
  • ½ cup water
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs

Frosting and Topping Ingredients

  • 1 bar Hershey's milk chocolate candy (4.4-ounce) For decoration
  • 1 cup softened unsalted butter
  • 2 ½ cups powdered sugar
  • ¼ cup heavy whipping cream For frosting
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup chopped pecans Can adjust to taste
  • 12 pieces soft caramels
  • 1 tablespoon heavy whipping cream For caramel topping

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a 9x13-inch cake pan with parchment paper and spray it with non-stick cooking spray.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the milk chocolate brownie mix, triple fudge brownie mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs using an electric or stand mixer until well combined.
  • Pour the brownie mixture into the prepared pan and bake for 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Let the brownies cool before proceeding to frost them.

Making the Frosting and Caramel Topping

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the softened butter, powdered sugar, heavy whipping cream, and vanilla extract to make the chocolate frosting.
  • Mix until smooth and creamy.
  • Melt the caramels with the tablespoon of heavy whipping cream until smooth.
  • Frost the cooled brownies with the chocolate frosting, then drizzle the melted caramel over the top.
  • Sprinkle the chopped pecans on top of the brownies.

Serving

  • Cut the brownies into squares and serve them on a plate or in a dessert tray.
  • Enjoy them on their own or with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for an extra treat.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days. Refrigerate for up to a week, letting them come to room temperature before serving. Ensure butter is softened and stir frequently when melting caramels.
