Ingredients
  

Beef Mixture

  • 2 pounds lean ground beef Choose lean meat to reduce excess grease.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 small diced onion
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic
  • ¼ cup steak sauce Feel free to add your favorite sauces.

Slider Assembly

  • 12 pieces dinner rolls Hawaiian slider rolls also work well.
  • 13 slices American cheese
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large skillet, add the olive oil and diced onion. Cook until the onion is tender.
  • Add the ground beef and cook, crumbling it until there is no pink left.
  • Season the beef with salt, pepper, garlic, and steak sauce. Stir well to combine and remove from heat.

Assembly

  • Slice the dinner rolls in half and lay the bottom halves in a baking dish.
  • Lay half of the American cheese slices on top of the rolls.
  • Spread the beef mixture evenly on top of the cheese.
  • Add another layer of cheese and place the top halves of the rolls on top.
  • Spread the melted butter and sprinkle the sesame seeds on top.

Baking

  • Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the sliders are golden brown.

Notes

Serve with a variety of toppings like lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, ketchup, and mustard. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator and eaten within 3 days. Reheat in the oven or microwave.
