  • 2 lbs fresh salmon fillet (skin on)
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise (slightly heaping)
  • 8 cloves garlic (crushed) Use fresh garlic for best flavor.
  • 5 oz fresh dill (chopped) Feel free to replace with lemon zest or other herbs.
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, crushed garlic, chopped dill, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  • Place the salmon fillet on a lined baking sheet, skin-side down.
  • Spread the garlic mayo mixture evenly over the top of the salmon.

Cooking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes
