Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 pound salmon Fresh salmon fillets
  • to taste Salt and pepper For seasoning

Seasoning Mix

  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper.
  • In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar, chili powder, paprika, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder.
  • Rub the seasoning mixture all over the salmon.

Cooking

  • Place the salmon, skin side down, in the basket of your air fryer.
  • Set the air fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and cook for 10 minutes. If adding asparagus, add it to the basket after the first 5 minutes of cooking.

Notes

Serve warm with a squeeze of lemon juice. Pairs well with rice, quinoa, or salad. For best results, ensure salmon fillets are of even thickness and avoid overcrowding the air fryer.
