  • 16 ounces sliced mushrooms Any type of mushrooms can be used.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons grated parmesan Can be omitted for a vegan version.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon minced fresh thyme
  • ½ teaspoon salt Optional, adjust to taste.
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a medium bowl, add the sliced mushrooms, olive oil, soy sauce, grated parmesan, garlic powder, minced fresh thyme, salt (if using), and ground black pepper.
  • Toss the mushrooms well to coat them evenly with the mixture.

Cooking

  • Place the coated mushrooms in the air fryer basket in an even layer.
  • Cook at 380°F for 5 minutes.
  • Shake the basket and cook for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the mushrooms are tender and golden.

Notes

Make sure to slice the mushrooms evenly for consistent cooking. For a vegan version, omit the parmesan or use a plant-based alternative. Consider adding red pepper flakes for heat or other herbs for flavor variations.
