Main Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs (1 slice of bread made into breadcrumbs)
  • ¼ cup finely diced onion
  • ¼ cup whole milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce (for the mixture)
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon fine sea salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper

Glaze Ingredients

  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce (for the glaze)

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (175°C).
  • In a bowl, mix together the ketchup, brown sugar, and 2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce to make the glaze. Set it aside.
  • In another large bowl, combine the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, diced onion, milk, egg, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Mix it well until everything is combined.
  • Shape the turkey mixture into a loaf shape and place it in a baking dish.
  • Spread the glaze over the meatloaf evenly.

Cooking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 1 hour or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  • Let the meatloaf rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor. Do not overmix the turkey mixture, as this can make the meatloaf dense. Feel free to customize the recipe by adding diced bell peppers, carrots, or cheese.
