Ingredients
  

For the ravioli

  • 1 bag frozen cheese ravioli Use frozen for quick preparation

For the coating

  • 2 large eggs Beaten
  • 2 cups Panko bread crumbs For extra crunch
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning For added flavor
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt and black pepper To taste
  • 1 tablespoon oil or oil spray For coating
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese Grated
  • 1 tablespoon dry or fresh herbs Such as parsley or basil

Instructions
 

Air Fryer Method

  • Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a bowl, beat the eggs and set them aside.
  • In another bowl, mix the bread crumbs, Italian seasoning, salt, black pepper, and Parmesan cheese.
  • Dip each frozen ravioli into the beaten eggs, then coat them with the bread crumb mixture.
  • Lightly spray the air fryer basket with oil.
  • Place the coated ravioli in a single layer in the basket and spray the tops lightly with oil.
  • Air fry for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
  • Remove and let cool slightly before serving.

Oven Method

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Follow the same steps for coating the ravioli as in the air fryer method.
  • Place the coated ravioli on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Spray the tops lightly with oil.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Toasted Ravioli can be served as a delicious appetizer or fun snack. Pair with marinara sauce for dipping. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2-3 days or freeze for longer storage. For variety, try different cheese fillings or add garlic powder or chili flakes for a spicy kick.
