  • 3-4 cups sliced or shredded turkey Use leftover turkey from your holiday meal.
  • 3-4 cups mashed potatoes Leftover mashed potatoes work well.
  • 1 cup gravy Use leftover gravy or store-bought.
  • 2 cups leftover vegetables (like green beans) Any leftover vegetables can be used.
  • 3-4 cups stuffing Leftover stuffing is ideal.
  • as needed cups chicken broth Drizzle over layers if they seem dry.
  • optional cranberry sauce For serving.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Add a layer of sliced or shredded turkey to the bottom of a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
  • Spread a layer of mashed potatoes evenly over the turkey.
  • Sprinkle leftover vegetables over the mashed potatoes.
  • Pour gravy evenly over the top of the vegetables.
  • Add a layer of stuffing on top and drizzle with chicken broth if needed.
  • Cover the dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  • Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes until golden and crisp.
  • Dollop the top with cranberry sauce before serving if desired.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Can be frozen before baking for up to 3 months; thaw in the refrigerator before baking.
