Ingredients
  

For the Chicken Cordon Bleu

  • 3 pounds chicken breast Boneless and skinless
  • 8 ounces diced or sliced ham Any type you prefer
  • 8 ounces Swiss cheese (shredded)

For the Sauce

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup (10.5-ounce)
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice

For the Topping

  • 1 box chicken stuffing mix (6-ounce)
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted) To drizzle on top

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Spray the bowl of a 4 or 6-quart slow cooker with pan spray.
  • In a bowl, whisk together the milk, cream of chicken soup, Dijon mustard, and lemon juice.
  • Spread about 1 cup of this mixture in the bottom of the crockpot.
  • Add the chicken breast on top of the mixture.
  • Layer the diced or sliced ham and then the shredded Swiss cheese over the chicken.
  • Pour the rest of the soup mixture over the layers.
  • Cover with the chicken stuffing mix and drizzle the melted butter on top.

Cooking

  • Cook on low for 5-6 hours or on high for 2-3 hours.

Serving

  • Once cooked, gently stir the layers together before serving.
  • Serve with steamed vegetables or a simple salad.

Notes

Feel free to adjust the recipe to your taste. You can use different cheeses or add more vegetables. Ensure chicken is fully cooked. For a crispier top, broil the dish in the oven for a few minutes after slow cooking. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days or frozen for up to 2 months.
