Ingredients
  

For the French Toast

  • 4 pieces eggs Fresh
  • 2/3 cup milk Can substitute with non-dairy milk
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon For added flavor
  • 1 Tablespoon vanilla Pure vanilla extract recommended
  • 2 Tablespoons butter For frying
  • 8 slices thick bread Texas toast or French bread recommended

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a medium-sized bowl, crack the eggs and add the milk. Whisk together until smooth.
  • Add the cinnamon and vanilla to the egg mixture and whisk again until well combined.

Cooking

  • Preheat a skillet over medium heat and add the butter. Allow the butter to melt completely.
  • Once the skillet is hot, dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture, making sure to coat both sides.
  • Place the coated bread in the skillet and fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes on each side.
  • Repeat this process until all the bread slices are cooked.

Serving

  • Top with fresh berries, a sprinkle of powdered sugar, and drizzle with your favorite syrup. Enjoy!

Notes
