  • 1 pound salmon, skin removed Make sure to remove the skin for the best texture.
  • 1 tablespoon dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onion
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill Fresh herbs work best.
  • 1/2 lemon Juice of half a lemon Use freshly squeezed juice for better flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs This helps bind the patties.

Preparation

  • Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  • Cut the salmon into one-inch cubes and place them in a food processor.
  • Add the dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, green onion, dill, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  • Pulse until everything is combined into a smooth mixture.
  • In a medium-sized bowl, add the salmon puree and breadcrumbs, mixing until well combined.
  • Shape the mixture into four patties.

Cooking

  • Place the patties on the grill and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side.
  • Remove from the grill and place on buns with your desired toppings.

Notes

Serve the burgers with your choice of toppings like lettuce, tomato, avocado, or tartar sauce. Store leftover patties in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
