  • 1 tube Pillsbury refrigerated pizza dough
  • ½ cup pizza sauce
  • 12 slices Italian salami
  • 1 ¼ cup mozzarella cheese
  • 16 slices pepperoni
  • 1 beaten egg For brushing on top
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh chopped parsley For garnish

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Roll out the pizza dough and stretch it onto the prepared baking sheet.
  • Spread pizza sauce over the dough, leaving about 2 inches from the edge.
  • Top with salami, mozzarella cheese, and pepperoni.
  • Roll up the dough tightly like a cinnamon roll and pinch the edges to seal; fold the seam down.
  • Brush the top with the beaten egg and cut small slits across the top for ventilation.
  • Sprinkle with Italian seasoning and grated parmesan cheese.
  • Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.

Serving

  • Slice the Stromboli into thick pieces and serve warm with a side of pizza sauce for dipping.

Notes

Store leftover Stromboli in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. You can reheat it in the oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit until heated through. You can also create a vegetarian version by using vegetables like spinach, mushrooms, and bell peppers instead of meat.
