  • 1 cup pumpkin puree Canned pumpkin puree is perfect for this recipe.
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon Adjust according to preference.
  • 1/4 teaspoon ginger
  • Dash cloves
  • Dash nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 4 ounces white chocolate Roughly chopped. Use high-quality for best taste.

Preparation

  • In a medium saucepan, heat the milk, pumpkin puree, spices, and vanilla on medium low heat. Be careful not to bring it to a boil.
  • Add the chopped white chocolate and stir until it melts.
  • Remove from heat and serve immediately. Garnish with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon.

Notes

For a vegan version, substitute the milk with almond or oat milk and use dairy-free white chocolate. You can also add a splash of espresso or coffee for a pumpkin spice latte twist, or mix in some caramel for a sweet variation.
