One Pot Creamy Garlic Pasta

  • 8 oz pasta (any variety)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese (grated) Use freshly grated for better flavor
  • 1 tsp salt Adjust to taste
  • 1/2 tsp pepper Adjust to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp parsley (for garnish) Chopped

Instructions
 

Cooking

  • In a large pot or skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  • Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  • Add pasta and enough water to cover it. Bring to a boil and cook until the pasta is al dente.
  • Reduce heat and stir in milk and Parmesan cheese.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Cook until the sauce thickens slightly.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

Serve hot with a side salad or garlic bread for a complete meal. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days and reheated with a little added milk.
