  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt

For Decoration

  • 1 cup Assorted Colored Sugars or Sprinkles For festive decoration.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
  • In another bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until everything is combined.
  • If the dough feels too soft, chill it in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.

Baking

  • Roll the dough into small balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Flatten each ball slightly with the bottom of a glass or your hands.
  • Sprinkle the tops with assorted colored sugars or sprinkles.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.

Cooling

  • Let them cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes
