Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 3 ounces flavored gelatin dessert mix one regular 3-ounce box
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1/2 cup vodka 80 proof
  • 1/2 cup cold water

Mix and Chill

  • Arrange 12 food-safe 2-ounce portion cups on a level tray that fits in the refrigerator.
  • Stir the 3-ounce gelatin mix with 1 cup boiling water in a heat-safe jug for about 2 minutes until all granules dissolve.
  • Let stand briefly until warm, then stir in 1/2 cup vodka and 1/2 cup cold water until evenly mixed.
  • Divide among the 12 cups, about 1 1/3 fluid ounces each. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours until firmly set, then cover and serve chilled.

Notes

  • Cover set cups and refrigerate for up to 3 days.
  • Do not freeze; thawing can change the gelatin texture.
