Ingredients
  

Crust Ingredients

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup melted butter

Cheesecake Filling

  • 24 oz cream cheese, softened Make sure it's at room temperature.
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 pieces eggs Add one at a time.
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce Use store-bought or homemade.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs with the melted butter. Mix well until the crumbs are fully coated.
  • Press the crumb mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to form the crust.
  • In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and granulated sugar until smooth and creamy.
  • Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Then, stir in the vanilla extract.

Assembly

  • Pour half of the cheesecake batter over the prepared crust.
  • Drizzle half of the caramel sauce over the batter.
  • Add the remaining cheesecake batter on top and use a knife to swirl the remaining caramel sauce into the batter gently.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 50-55 minutes, or until the cheesecake is set but still slightly jiggly in the center.
  • Remove from the oven and allow it to cool completely before serving.

Notes

For serving, drizzling more caramel sauce or garnishing with whipped cream and chocolate shavings enhances the experience. Store covered in the refrigerator for up to 5 days, or freeze for up to 3 months.
