Ingredients
  

For the sliders

  • 12 rolls 12 Hawaiian Sweet Rolls or Dinner Rolls
  • 12 slices 12 slices deli pastrami
  • 12 slices 12 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1 cup 1 cup sliced jalapenos

For the sauce

  • ½ cup ½ cup butter Melted
  • 2 tablespoons 2 tablespoons mustard For sauce
  • 2 tablespoons 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons 2 tablespoons poppy seeds
  • 3 tablespoons 3 tablespoons mustard For spreading

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Slice the 12 Hawaiian Sweet Rolls or Dinner Rolls in half and place the bottom halves in a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  • Melt ½ cup of butter in a pan. Whisk in 2 tablespoons of mustard, 2 tablespoons of honey, and 2 tablespoons of poppy seeds. Set this mixture aside.
  • Spread 3 tablespoons of mustard on the bottom half of the dinner rolls.
  • Divide the 12 slices of deli pastrami, 12 slices of Swiss cheese, and 1 cup of sliced jalapenos evenly over the rolls.
  • Place the other half of the rolls on top.
  • Spread the butter mixture generously all over the top of the rolls, making sure it gets into the crevices.

Baking

  • Cover the dish with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Serve hot.

Notes

If you prefer a milder flavor, you can skip the jalapenos or use pickles instead. Try adding other toppings, like sauerkraut or crispy onions, for a different twist. Feel free to use a different type of cheese, like cheddar, if Swiss isn’t your favorite. You can make these sliders in advance and freeze them before baking.
