Halloween Donut Hole Pops
Easy and fun Halloween treats that kids and adults will love, perfect for parties and festive events.
Ingredients
Main Ingredients
- 20 pieces Donut Holes (Plain work best)
- 1 cup White Candy Melts
- 1 cup Green Candy Melts
- 1 cup Black Candy Melts
- 1 cup Orange Candy Melts
- 20 pieces Lollipop Sticks
Decorations
- 1 bag Green Mike and Ikes
- 1 container Small Eyeball Sprinkles
- 1 container Large Eyeball Sprinkles
- 1 piece Edible Black Marker
- 1 cup Red Sanding Sugar
Instructions
Preparation
- Prep your work area by laying down parchment paper. Poke holes in either an upside-down egg carton, a large Styrofoam block, or a small cardboard box.
- In four small bowls, add the candy melts, one color to each bowl. Melt in the microwave one bowl at a time with the power on 50% for 1 minute. Stir and microwave again for 30 seconds as needed, until melted and smooth.
- Dip the end of a lollipop stick into one of the melted candy colors, then insert it into the bottom of a donut hole. Let the candy melts fully set up before proceeding with decorating.
Decoration
- Decorate your donut hole pops using the candy melts as follows: Pumpkin Design: Use orange candy melts and place green Mike and Ikes on top for leaves. Eyeball Design: Use white candy melts and top with large eyeball sprinkles. Mummy Design: Use white candy melts and draw lines with an edible black marker. Frankenstein Design: Use green candy melts and add small eyeball sprinkles for a spooky touch.
Notes
To store your Halloween Donut Hole Pops, keep them in an airtight container and place a layer of parchment paper between the layers to prevent sticking. They last for a few days at room temperature. Use plain donut holes for the best results, and melt candy melts slowly to prevent burning.
