  • 1/4 cup honey Adjust based on your sweetness preference.
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice Fresh lime juice is preferred for the best flavor.

For the Chicken

  • 1 pound chicken tenders Can substitute with chicken breasts or thighs.

Preparation

  • In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together the Italian dressing, honey, and lime juice until well mixed.
  • Add the chicken tenders to the bowl and make sure they are fully coated in the marinade. Let them marinate for 30 minutes.

Grilling

  • Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  • Place the marinated chicken tenders on the grill. Cook for 3-4 minutes on one side.
  • Flip the chicken tenders and cook until they reach an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit and are no longer pink inside.

Notes

For added flavor, let the chicken marinate longer if you have the time. Make sure the grill is hot before adding the chicken to ensure a nice sear. Use a meat thermometer to check for doneness.
