Ingredients
  

Meatballs

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg for binding
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh mint, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Tzatziki Sauce

  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 medium cucumber, grated and drained to remove excess water
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 clove garlic, minced for tzatziki
  • to taste salt for seasoning

Instructions
 

Preparation of Meatballs

  • In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, egg, minced garlic, parsley, mint, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  • Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.

Cooking Meatballs

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Place the meatballs on the baking sheet.
  • Bake meatballs for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through and golden brown.

Preparation of Tzatziki

  • Meanwhile, prepare the tzatziki sauce by mixing Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, lemon juice, minced garlic, and salt in a bowl. Adjust seasoning to taste.

Serving

  • Serve the meatballs warm with the tzatziki sauce on the side.
