Ingredients
  

Rack of Lamb

  • 1 rack Rack of Lamb Ensure it is trimmed and frenched for presentation.

Seasoning

  • to taste Salt and Pepper Season generously.

Herb Mixture

  • 1/2 cup Butter (softened) Bring to room temperature for easy mixing.
  • 10 cloves Garlic (minced) Use fresh garlic for best flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Rosemary (minced) Fresh herbs enhance the flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Parsley (minced) Minced for better incorporation.
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Thyme (minced)

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • In a 9x13 inch baking dish, place the rack of lamb and season it with salt and pepper.
  • In a small bowl, mix the softened butter, minced garlic, rosemary, parsley, and thyme together.
  • Spread the herb mixture generously on the front and back of the lamb.
  • Place the rack of lamb fat side down in the baking dish.

Cooking

  • Roast in the oven for 15 minutes.
  • Carefully remove the lamb and flip it over.
  • Return to the oven for another 7-10 minutes, until it reaches your desired temperature (125 degrees for rare and 135 degrees for medium rare).
  • Remove from the oven and cover loosely with foil. Let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

Allow the lamb to come to room temperature before cooking for more even cooking. For a different flavor, consider adding other herbs like thyme or oregano or coat the lamb with breadcrumbs for extra crunch. Leftovers can be wrapped tightly and stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
