  • 1 can 10.5-ounce can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 can 2.8-ounce can French-fried onions For topping
  • Salt and ground black pepper to taste

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and spray a 2-quart baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  • In a large bowl, add the drained cut green beans, condensed cream of mushroom soup, milk, and salt and ground black pepper to taste.
  • Stir the mixture to combine well, then pour it into the prepared casserole dish.
  • Sprinkle the top of the casserole with the French-fried onions.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven until bubbly, about 25 minutes.

Notes

For a richer flavor, consider using fresh green beans instead of canned ones. If you prefer a crunchy topping, add some additional French-fried onions on top before serving. Feel free to add cooked bacon or cheese for extra flavor! To store leftover casserole, let it cool completely. Cover tightly and refrigerate for 3 to 4 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
