Easy Fried Ice Cream

Ingredients
  

For the Corn Flake Coating

  • 1/4 cup butter Melted
  • 5 cups corn flakes Crushed into small pieces
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon sugar

For the Ice Cream

  • 1 container vanilla ice cream 48 ounces

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a medium skillet over medium heat, melt the butter.
  • Add in the crushed corn flakes, cinnamon, and sugar to the skillet. Stir everything together.
  • Cook for 4-6 minutes or until the corn flakes are toasted.
  • Remove from the skillet and transfer to a bowl.
  • Scoop out one cup of ice cream and roll it into a ball, repeating until you have about 8 ice cream balls.
  • Place the ice cream balls on a baking sheet and freeze for one hour.
  • After freezing, remove the ice cream balls and roll them in the corn flake mixture.
  • Put them back on the baking sheet and freeze for another 30 minutes to an hour or until they are solidified.

Serving

  • Serve Easy Fried Ice Cream on a plate, topped with your favorite toppings such as chocolate sauce, whipped cream, cherries, or nuts.

Notes

Make sure to roll the ice cream balls tightly, and let them sit out for about 5 minutes before rolling for easier handling. You can experiment with different cereals and ice cream flavors.
