  • 5 cans 5 Cans cut green beans, drained Use canned green beans and ensure they are well-drained.
  • 8 slices 8 Slices of bacon, cooked and chopped Use crispy bacon for added crunch.
  • ¾ cup ¾ C melted Butter Melt the butter before mixing.
  • 2 tablespoons 2 Tbsp Soy sauce Adjust according to taste.
  • cup ⅔ C Light brown sugar Brown sugar adds sweetness.
  • 1 ½ teaspoons 1 ½ tsp Garlic Minced or crushed garlic can be used.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
  • Place the drained green beans into a well-greased 9x13 baking dish.
  • In a bowl, whisk together the melted butter, brown sugar, soy sauce, and garlic until well combined.
  • Sprinkle the chopped bacon over the green beans evenly.
  • Pour the sauce mixture over the green beans and bacon.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes, or until heated through and slightly bubbly.

Notes

Serve hot for the best flavor. They can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for 3 to 5 days. Reheat in the oven or microwave before serving. You can prepare the green beans and sauce in advance.
