Preparation

  • Add the chocolate to a bowl and set aside.
  • In a small bowl, combine the butter and the cream. Heat it in the microwave for 30-45 seconds until it’s steaming.
  • Pour the hot cream over the chocolate and let it sit for 3 minutes.
  • Whisk the mixture until it is smooth and glossy.

Notes

Store any leftover ganache in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. Reheat gently before use. You can add vanilla extract or liqueurs for customization.
