  • 1 box (18 oz) brownie mix (prepared according to box instructions) Follow the instructions on the box for preparation.

Toppings

  • 2 cups chopped strawberries Wash and dry strawberries before chopping.
  • 1.5 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips Can substitute with milk chocolate or white chocolate.
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil Used to help melt the chocolate smoothly.

Preparation

  • Prepare your brownies according to the instructions on the box, and let them cool completely.
  • Wash, dry, and chop your strawberries into bite-sized pieces; spread them into an even layer on top of the baked brownies.

Chocolate Drizzle

  • In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and vegetable oil. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until melted and smooth.
  • Transfer the melted chocolate into a ziplock bag, cut off one end, and drizzle over the strawberries.

Finishing Touches

  • Place the brownies in the fridge for 30 minutes to 1 hour to set the chocolate drizzle, then slice into squares before serving.

Notes

For serving, arrange brownies on a platter and garnish with whole strawberries. Pair with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days, or in the fridge for up to a week. Best enjoyed fresh.
