Ingredients
  

Cheesecake Layer

  • 16 oz 2 packages cream cheese Softened to room temperature for easy mixing
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Brownie Base

  • 1 cup butter Melted
  • 6 oz unsweetened chocolate Melted with butter
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 4 large eggs Added one at a time
  • 1 1/4 cups flour Add until just combined

Topping

  • 21 oz Lucky Leaf® Cherry Pie Filling

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Line a 13x9 inch pan with foil and spray lightly with cooking spray.

Make Cheesecake Layer

  • Beat the cream cheese with 1/2 cup sugar, 1 egg, and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla in a mixing bowl until smooth. Set aside.

Make Brownies

  • Melt the butter and unsweetened chocolate together in a saucepan over low heat. Stir until smooth, then remove from heat.
  • Mix in 2 cups sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla, salt, and 4 eggs, one at a time.
  • Stir in the flour until just combined.

Assembly

  • Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan.
  • Spread the cream cheese mixture over the batter.
  • Drop spoonfuls of the remaining brownie batter on top and swirl gently with a knife.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  • Let the brownies cool before topping with cherry pie filling.

Notes

Serve at room temperature or chilled, cut into squares. Top with whipped cream for extra flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week or freeze individual pieces.
