  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened) Make sure the cream cheese is softened to room temperature for easy mixing.
  • 4 Tbsp sriracha Adjust to taste for extra heat.
  • 1/2 cup cheddar cheese sauce
  • 1/4 cup sour cream For a thicker dip, reduce the amount.
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise For a thicker dip, reduce the amount.
  • 8 oz imitation crab meat (flake-style) You can substitute with real crab meat for a more authentic flavor.
  • 3 cloves garlic (crushed)
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp seasoned salt
  • 1/2 Tbsp onion powder
  • 4 tsp granulated sugar
  • 1 Tbsp dried chives

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and sriracha. Mix until smooth.
  • Add the cheddar cheese sauce, sour cream, and mayonnaise. Stir well to combine.
  • Gently fold in the imitation crab meat, crushed garlic, paprika, seasoned salt, onion powder, granulated sugar, and dried chives.
  • Mix everything together until well incorporated.
  • Transfer the dip to a serving bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors meld.

Notes

Serve Cajun Crab Dip in a bowl with tortilla chips, crackers, or sliced vegetables on the side. It can also be used as a spread on toasted bread or bagels. Store any leftover dip in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Stir well before serving again.
