Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 12 pieces Hawaiian dinner rolls
  • 8 pieces eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon cracked black pepper
  • 6 slices American cheese
  • 12 pieces small sausage patties

Topping

  • 1/4 cup butter melted
  • 2 teaspoons pure maple syrup
  • 2 teaspoons Everything Bagel Seasoning

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and spray an 8x8 inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
  • Use a serrated knife to carefully cut the rolls in half lengthwise, keeping the rolls together as much as possible.
  • Place the bottom half of the rolls in the prepared pan. Save the tops for later.

Cooking

  • In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Scramble and cook the eggs in a medium-sized skillet over medium heat.
  • Layer the scrambled eggs on top of the buns in the pan, followed by the cheese and sausage patties. Center the cheese and sausage on each roll for even cutting later.
  • Place the top half of the rolls over the sausage patties.
  • Melt the butter in a microwavable bowl. Stir in the maple syrup and Everything Bagel Seasoning. Brush this mixture evenly on top of the buns.
  • Cover the pan with foil and bake for 10-15 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
  • Cut into individual sliders and enjoy!

Notes

For added flavor, consider mixing in diced bell peppers or onions into the scrambled eggs. To make it vegetarian, omit the sausage and add spinach or mushrooms. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for about 3-4 days.
