Ingredients
  

Pasta and Dressing

  • 1 pound cheese tortellini
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 1 packet Ranch seasoning mix (1-ounce) About 1 ½ tablespoons

Salad Components

  • ½ pound crisply cooked, chopped bacon
  • 2-3 cups chopped romaine lettuce To taste
  • 1 pint halved cherry tomatoes
  • ½ cup thinly sliced shallot About 1 small shallot

Preparation

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil. Cook the cheese tortellini according to the package instructions.
  • Drain the pasta and rinse it with cold water to cool it down.
  • Once cooled, shake off the excess water and toss the tortellini with a little olive oil. Set aside.

Make the Dressing

  • Whisk together the mayonnaise, sour cream, milk, and Ranch seasoning mix in a small bowl.

Combine Salad Ingredients

  • In a large bowl, combine the chopped romaine lettuce, halved cherry tomatoes, chopped bacon, and sliced shallot.
  • Top the salad with the dressing and toss until everything is evenly coated.
  • Cover and refrigerate until you are ready to serve.

Notes

Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For added flavor, consider garnishing with extra bacon or grated cheese.
