Ingredients
  

Meatballs

  • 26 ounces cooked frozen meatballs Use any kind of frozen meatballs.

Sauce Ingredients

  • 2 cups bottled BBQ sauce or homemade BBQ sauce Adjust based on preference.
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup honey Adjust to taste.
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar Adjust to taste.
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper Optional for heat.

Preparation

  • Lightly spray a slow cooker insert with nonstick cooking spray.
  • In a bowl, add BBQ sauce, honey, brown sugar, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper. Mix to combine.
  • Add frozen meatballs to the slow cooker and pour the sauce over the meatballs. Stir to coat.

Cooking

  • Cover and cook on low for 3-4 hours or high for 2 hours.
  • Stir the meatballs before serving!

Notes

Serve hot from the slow cooker, ideal for snacking with toothpicks. They pair well with rice, mashed potatoes, or coleslaw. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days or freeze for longer storage.
