  • 2 Tablespoons brown sugar Adjust sweetness as desired.
  • 2 cups milk You can substitute with almond milk for a dairy-free option.
  • 2 cups mixed berries Can use frozen berries or any variety you prefer.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Spray an 8x11 inch pan with cooking spray.
  • Add the bananas to the bottom of the pan and smash them with a fork until they are smooth.
  • Spread the oats evenly on top of the mashed bananas.
  • Sprinkle the chia seeds and brown sugar over the oats.
  • Pour in the milk and stir everything together until well mixed.
  • Top the mixture with the mixed berries.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, or until the oatmeal is set.

Notes

Baked oatmeal is best served warm. Add a splash of milk or a dollop of yogurt for extra creaminess. Drizzle with honey or maple syrup for added sweetness. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days. Reheat as needed.
