  • 12 ounces spaghetti
  • 1 jar 28-ounce spaghetti sauce
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 clove minced garlic
  • 1 package 8-ounce cream cheese Ensure it's at room temperature for easier mixing.
  • ½ cup grated parmesan cheese For topping.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Spray a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray and set it aside.
  • In a medium-sized skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef and cook until browned.
  • Add the spaghetti sauce to the cooked beef and stir to combine.
  • Cook the spaghetti according to package directions, then drain and place in a large bowl.
  • Add cream cheese, Italian seasoning, and minced garlic to the spaghetti. Stir until well coated.

Assembly and Baking

  • Place a small amount of the meat/sauce mixture at the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  • Add the spaghetti mixture on top, then layer with the remaining meat/sauce mixture.
  • Sprinkle parmesan cheese on top.
  • Bake for 30 minutes until bubbly and heated through.

Notes

Great paired with a green salad or garlic bread. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days.
