  • 4 small boneless (skinless) chicken breasts (about 150–170 g each / 5–6 oz)
  • 8 slices bacon (thin or regular cut)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup finely grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  • Lightly grease a baking dish or line a sheet pan with parchment paper.
  • Place the chicken breasts in a bowl and drizzle with olive oil. Add garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, Italian seasoning, pepper, and salt. Toss well to coat.
  • Press the grated Parmesan evenly onto all sides of each chicken breast.
  • Wrap each chicken breast with 2 slices of bacon, slightly overlapping and tucking the ends underneath.

Cooking

  • Place the wrapped chicken seam-side down in the baking dish. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked.
  • Optional: Switch the oven to broil (grill) for 2–3 minutes at the end to crisp the bacon.
  • Let the chicken rest for 3–5 minutes. Sprinkle with parsley before serving if desired.

Notes

This dish is versatile and can be served with sides like mashed potatoes, steamed vegetables, or a fresh salad. For added flavor, consider dipping sauces like ranch or garlic aioli. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven or microwave.
