Ingredients

For the Beef Filling

  • 450 grams ground beef
  • 1 small onion, finely diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 0.5 teaspoon paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt, to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

For the Cheese Wraps

  • 120 grams shredded cheddar cheese
  • 120 grams shredded mozzarella cheese

For Toppings

  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • Diced pickles
  • Chopped tomatoes
  • Shredded lettuce
  • Creamy burger-style sauce or mayonnaise-based dressing

Instructions

  • Cook beef and diced onion to 160°F, drain, and stir garlic and dry seasonings through briefly. Keep filling warm.
  • Heat to 375°F and line trays with nonstick parchment. Divide the mixed cheeses into six 40 g portions and form thin 6-inch circles.
  • Bake about 6–8 minutes until melted with pale golden edges. Cool only 30–60 seconds, until liftable and flexible.
  • Divide cooked beef and bacon among shells. Add modest drained toppings if desired and fold before the cheese stiffens. Serve promptly.

Notes

Cheese shells have a short pliable folding window. Use cooked meat, drain excess fat, and keep wet toppings modest.
