Ingredients
  

For the burgers

  • 1 pound 85% lean ground beef Use high-quality ground beef for best flavor.
  • 1 package McCormick Grill Mates Korean BBQ Marinade (1.12-ounce) Can substitute with a different Asian-style marinade.

For the coleslaw

  • 2 cups coleslaw mix Store-bought or homemade mix can be used.
  • 2 teaspoons rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce Use low-sodium soy sauce if desired.
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil

For the Sweet Chili Lime Mayo

  • ΒΌ cup mayonnaise Use regular or light mayonnaise.
  • 3 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice Freshly squeezed lime juice is best.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a bowl, combine the ground beef and the Korean BBQ marinade. Mix well and form into burger patties.

Cooking

  • Preheat your grill or stovetop pan over medium-high heat.
  • Cook the patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until they reach your desired doneness.

Coleslaw Preparation

  • In another bowl, mix the coleslaw mix with rice vinegar, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Toss well to coat.

Mayo Preparation

  • In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and lime juice. Stir until smooth.

Assembling the Burgers

  • Once the burgers are cooked, place them on toasted buns. Top with the coleslaw and a generous dollop of Sweet Chili Lime Mayo.

Notes

For extra flavor, let the burger patties marinate for at least 30 minutes before cooking. You can add Sriracha sauce to the mayo for a spicy kick. Use a grill basket for multiple burgers to prevent them from falling apart. Ground turkey or chicken can be substituted for a lighter version.
