Main ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce use low-sodium if preferred
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon ginger powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • cooking spray compatible with your air fryer

Instructions

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F according to its instructions. Mix sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, honey, garlic powder, ginger powder, salt, and pepper; pat the thighs dry and unfold them.
  • Turn the thighs in the glaze, letting excess drip off, and discard the used remainder. Lightly spray the basket with compatible cooking spray and arrange chicken in one layer with gaps.
  • Cook at 400°F for about 20–25 minutes, turning halfway through. Check smaller pieces earlier and remove each thigh at 165°F in the thickest part; lower the temperature if the glaze darkens too quickly.
  • Transfer to a plate and serve one thigh per portion. Additional batches take longer than the 35-minute estimate.

Notes

  • Refrigerate in shallow covered containers within 2 hours (1 hour above 90°F); keep at 40°F or below and use within 3–4 days.
  • Reheat to 165°F throughout, checking often because the sweet coating can darken before the center is hot.
