Main Ingredients
- 1 lb salmon fillet thawed, skin and pin bones removed, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- fresh parsley chopped, optional, for garnish
Method
Cut the thawed salmon into even 1-inch cubes, removing skin and pin bones, and pat dry. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F.
Melt the 2 tablespoons butter over medium-low heat; stir in garlic for 30–60 seconds until fragrant and pale. Remove from heat and stir in lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
Toss the salmon in the butter mixture. Arrange in a spaced single layer in the basket, using an air-fryer-safe liner after preheating if suitable for your appliance.
Cook at 400°F for about 8–10 minutes, checking from 6 minutes, until the thickest centers reach 145°F and flake easily. Cook additional batches as needed.
Divide into 4 portions and garnish with parsley if desired. Discard uncooked coating left in the mixing bowl.
- Refrigerate promptly at 40°F or below; use within 2 days.
- Reheat cooked leftovers to 165°F.
